Rhona Mitra
Mitra appeared as the live-action character model for Lara Croft, the lead character in Eidos Interactive's Tomb Raider video game series prior to when Angelina Jolie took the role for the two Tomb Raider films (2001-2003). Mitra was ranked number. 46 in the Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2001. She was Christopher Lambert's love interest in Beowulf. Her first major role came as Scott Wolf's illicit love interest in Party of Five. In 2000, Mitra had a small part in the film Hollow Man as a neighbour who is sexually assaulted by Kevin Bacon's character. She had a main role in the drama about medical treatment Gideon's Crossing, as Alejandra "Ollie" Klein. Then, Mitra had roles in Ali G Indahouse's Sweet Home Alabama, Stuck on You and Stuck on You and also a leading role in Highwaymen, Spartacus, and in the movie "The Practice". Mitra played Tara Wilson in The Practice's final season. She continued to play her role in Boston Legal's spinoff, but was unable to keep the role beyond the second season. Mitra was the third season's Kit McGraw role on Nip/Tuck in 2005. Then, Mitra appeared in Skinwalkers, The Number 23 & Shooter. In 2008, Mitra played the role of Major Eden Sinclair in the science-fiction/action film Doomsday. It was reported that she was misidentified in databases as Caryn Peterson. In 2009, Mitra stars in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. Sonja is the daughter of the powerful vampire older Viktor (played in part by Bill Nighy). Mitra grew fondly of her vampire fangs throughout filming. She refused to remove them because they were impossible to view. "I put the fangs in the first day. I thought it was odd to have them there. That's why I kept them throughout the whole time of shooting, throughout all my dialogue as well as everything else." Stargate Universe also featured the actress in three episodes.
