Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he's referred to to the music world is a British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. Based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There as well as three of his classmates He formed his own band, White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing results. Despite having been a fan of music, the man also had a dream of becoming an attorney or an physiotherapist. In order to provide for his family, he took a short time working part-time at a baker's shop. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and did Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. For that reason his band were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they would form the group One Direction after the X Test audition. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they founded in the year 2010. The group was backed by Simon Cowell. They were the first to sing Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the best contenders for the competition. The group was however placed third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell did pay 2 million pounds for One Direction for them to agree to a contract with Syco.
